I can only wonder how A-Rod will spin his comments about the reporter. After saying she tried to break into his house, he recanted. What possible reason could he have for that lie?

Count me in the group who didn't want A-Rod on the Yanks in the first place...but now that he's on, I root for him. But between the divorce, Madonna, claiming he was drug tested many more times than he actually was, the opt out in the middle of the World Series game...and now this whopper of a revelation. The guy is just not right.

Giants vs. Eagles, Yankees need another starter

G-men taking on the Eagles currently. Were it not for my Uncle getting screwed out of his season tickets (held since 1979 - long story), I'd be sitting in the end zone right now, freezing.

As for the Yanks, all is quiet on the hot stove. Not sure what Cashman has planned if Pettitte doesn't return. With Joba on an innings cap, he's a limited number five starter who will get skipped. That leaves a lot of innings out there both in the open #4 slot and any needed starts in the #5 slot that they won't put Joba out there for. I'm not sure that many kids from the farm will be able to fill all of them and I fear it will turn into a rotating door situation like last year (Ponson et al.)

As for me - I used the snow blower to get the foot of snow off of the driveway and am now relaxing in the heat, watching the game. I've used the snow blower 8 times already and it is only Jan 11. And to think I doubted whether I'd need it or not...

Well...after multiple requests for turning my e-mails to friends into a blog...here it is.

I can't guarantee it will be updated often. I can't guarantee the posts will be good.

What distinguishes this blog from the millions of others? Probably nothing.
